Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo on the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk have been the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also plays the role of drama instructor at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a kid. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. She then relocated to Los Angeles California during the following decade. Silk met her husband, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. In December 2009 they married after a civil wedding ceremony. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows at a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk is known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by the Gemini Awards. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant while filming of the third season finale episode. The news was announced to the fans in an episode of the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk is doing work on the show since the third season finale episode was first conceived on January 6, 2013, announced on Twitter her readiness to return on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared that they were the top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in an extensive online presence using social networks.
